Is Everyone Codependent?
Codependency is not idea that we are all connected. A person is codependent when there is an imbalance in how they deal with other people as opposed to themselves. A person will tend to get into a relationship with someone who is emotionally unstable, unavailable or extraordinarily needy. The codependent person will put his or her needs aside to the state of ruin in order to repeatedly help this other person.
If you are a person who distrusts others, is controlling, avoids feelings, and is often ill related to stress, you might be a codependent person.
Mothers might be said to be codependent of their babies, but this is not really in the same unhealthy way that a person would be codependent with an adult.
Families that have drug abusive members, mental illness or secret financial problems often help to develop codependency among people.
